This 3 week workshop puts an in depth focus on the skills needed to succeed in theatre and performance. Working with professional performers, directors, and teaching artists, students will receive instruction in Acting, Vocals, and Dance including: -script analysis -improvisation -monologue technique -physicality -breaking down lyrics -finding the story of the song -basics of a professional musical theatre audition -choosing songs that showcase YOU -finding a 16-bar cut -working with an accompanist -stretching and warm up -basics of musical theatre dance -moving like a dancer -dance auditions (how to make it out alive) The workshop culminates in a feedback audition to introduce you to local theatre professionals on Friday night as well as a student designed performance of skills on Saturday morning. Our Kids's art camp is back...and during Christmas Break! We provide all the supplies, your child's inspiration and step-by-step instruction of the featured art. At the end of the event, kids will go home with their very own snowman masterpiece. This class woudl make a great kids for any children on your list. Appropriate ages are 6-12. Our event will be hosted by Beth Cline and $20 includes supplies and Instruction. Popcorn will be served. Bottled water available for $1. Tickets available at the link below. Class limited to 55!

Our camp registration is now open! Join us for a potluck picnic and register! When : Sunday, June 12, 2016 12:00pm-4:00pm Where: Randall Oaks Park 1180 West Randall Road West Dundee, IL 60118 It's a multicultural camp! Everyone is welcome to join our camp! It's not just for the Lao people. :) We will be learning about the many cultures from the people who live in our community. Campers (Kindergarten - 8 grades) and youth leaders/volunteers (high school and college students) are encouraged to apply now! Space is limited. In addition to developing leadership skills, our youth leaders/volunteers will enjoy many benefits as they will be able to participate in all the activities as the campers do. They will also be able to partake in the delicious lunch lovingly prepared everyday on site by our volunteers. Teen Winter Art Camp: Positive Posters - Louisville, KY
With the New Year upon what better way to start it out than with a positive poster to hang in your home or community! Children can create their own quote for their poster or we will provide a variety for them to choose from. We will provide a variety of creative materials as well as a few inspiration pieces. Although we do teach technique we allow and encourage the voice of each individual child to shine through. In other words, no two paintings or sculptures will ever leave our studio looking the same. We value and honor the voice and creative spirt of each individual child and encourage them to find their own creative path. **Please remember to pack a healthy lunch and snack!

Science in the City Camp, Session II - Francis W Parker
Science in the City Camp provides students with a full week to explore a science topic alongside passionate faculty. Science in the City courses will activate campers imaginations as they are encouraged to invent, engage and explore. Using Chicago as a resource, campers will connect science activities with everyday life. See options for specific course offerings each week. LUNCH: Science in the City campers must bring their own peanut-free bag lunches and drinks each day. Refrigerated facilities are not provided. An insulated lunch box with an ice pack is recommended. Science in the City Camp ends each day at 3:00pm. Accounts for campers not picked up by 3:30pm will be charged $20 per day. See option for Late Science from 3-5pm. 773.797.5104

Battle Camp Youth - Takedown Gym
Takedown Gyms Battle Camp Core is designed to teach young wrestlers the needed skills, technique and positioning in order to build a solid wrestling foundation. Like all Battle Camps, students will be taught to apply what we are teaching in order execute properly in live situations. Wrestlers will come away from this camp with the understanding of what it takes to train, perform and win. Seahorses: Olympics Theme Grades: entering 3rd-4th This is a fun and safe environment which promotes creativity and self-awareness through activities, games and songs. This camp focuses on developing friendships and working as a team. Campers will gain an understanding of the importance of self-esteem and respect. Choose any four weeks for your child to attend. Additional weeks may be added later by contacting the Director at the established rate. Weeks CANNOT be added at the rate difference between each available session program. For example, if you register for three weeks and then decide to add two additional weeks, the cost WILL NOT be the difference between the three week program and the five week program.
