Learn basic metalworking techniques to create mini sculpture and jewelry. Saw, hammer, fold, cut, stamp, rivet and solder copper sheet metal and wire. Students will use hand tools and a torch (one-on-one with instructor) to make metal malleable and solder pieces together as needed. For over 20 years FONZ Nature Camp has matched campers with an appreciation for the great outdoors. My 13 year old son has attended this camp for the last 3 years. He plans to go again next year as well. Rumson at JLMC: Woodland Friends Half Day - Junior League Headquarters
Students will explore the wild, and not so wild life around them. As they do so, they will create exciting animal-inspired pieces from a variety of media. From bugs to giant fish, students experience a part of the animal world they may not have considered before. Discovery and self-expression are fundamental to KidzArt programs where creative spirit is nurtured while building friendships and having fun! Use the Rube Goldberg philosophy to plan, create, and build new contraptions in the outdoors. Experiment with the Rube Goldberg design process, create a new feeding method for the aquarium animals, make a safe animal catching device, and create your own apparatus that can function in the outdoors. Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Golf Lessons for Grades 3-5 only - Bolles Ponte Vedra Beach Campus
The Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Junior philosophy defines a Long Term Athletic Development Approach. This development is laid out within our Junior camp offering focus on three areas: Fundamentals, Learn & Train to Play and Learn & Train to Compete. Within the Level 1 curriculum, students will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game and swing, short game analysis, life values and how they relate golf and entry level contests. **This class will be longer due to travel time for the bus. Students will leave here at 3:20pm, Class is from 3:45-4:45, the students will return to campus around 5:00pm. Coach Stone will accompany the students on the bus to and from their Golf Lesson** Transportation will be provided by The Bolles School to and from the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Clubhouse.
