At Winema 1st High School Camp, we work hard to provide the best of both camp and conference experiences through dynamic worship, engaging sessions, amazing activities and authentic and long-lasting relationships with fellow teens and adult leaders. Its a week that you wont want to miss. Our aim is for the campers to experience Gods love in Jesus Christ and have the opportunity to hear His call upon their lives. Various elements go into Christian Camping including the community that comes together in the Camp, the natural setting, games and recreation, Bible study, worship, prayer, and fellowship. The Camelback Village Summer Fitness Camps left my children with wonderful memories. They have creative activities for children ages 2 through 12. My 5 year old twin daughters had great stories to share with us after spending time at this camp. Not only did they have fun, but they also learned to cook healthy food! (Class might go until 5:00) And every Saturday after that except 11/28 and 12/26 Recital 1/17/16 Class Description --------------- ACT I - INTRODUCTION TO ACTING II: AGES 5-17 Students ages will be exposed to various acting warm ups and exercises connecting movement and sound. They will also learn how to read a script, mark stage directions, memorize lines, audition and conquer stage fright. Students focus on acting and character development through exercises, techniques, and improvisation Actors will develop a strong understanding of character development, acting techniques and monologues, as well as theatre etiquette. This class is all about being an actor. Camp HeavenBound is directed by Lou Ann Jordan and Lance Parrish from the Pleasant Ridge church in Arlington, TX. Camp HB is a wonderful camp experience for those students who are going into 3rd thru 9th grades in the fall of 2015. Camp HB ministers to this diverse age group by running two schedules - one for grades 3-6 and one for grades 7-9. Join us Saturday March 19th, from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at Smythe Park for some egg-celant fun! Only $5 per child to register. All registrations include jump castles, photo booth, face painting, craft station, Easter games, cookie decorating and a dozen candy filled eggs per child! (The Daniel Island POA will be providing all eggs for the hunt). Wristbands will be given out at check in on Saturday, March 19th from 10:45 am - 11:45 am only. Hunt starts at 12:00 pm sharp! From building projects to cooking and science experiments; Camp High-5 will blend traditional summer games, art & crafts with exciting, indepth, hands on theme based projects. High-5 is moving to a new location on site at Red Morton Community Center, with its very own fenced in playground and in room bathrooms. Come & taste the adventure! Campers will explore some basic cooking techniques and create their own culinary masterpieces from around the world.
