NEW! HRC Summer Camp Week 10-Bricks 4 Kidz 9am-4pm - Hillsborough
We learn, we build, we play with Logo Bricks. Camp is 9AM to 4PM (no Before or After-Care is available, no exceptions) Theme 1 Mining and Crafting Campers will face new challenges each day, building models and crafting key elements from the popular Minecraft® game. Minecraft® is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. Camp- ers will be challenged to bring their virtual designs to life by crafting shelters, mobs, critters and tools as well as building mosaics and custom models, incorporating LEGO® Bricks. Theme 2 Amusement Park Get your ticket to ride at the Bricks 4 Kidz very own amusement park! Campers will build motorized rides, learning how to make things spin, roll, turn, and rock. Introduction to Coding Camp - Mercer Island- Community Center
Coding Camp follows a progressive computer science curriculum that teaches kids how to code using Scratch, an event-driven visual drag & drop programming language developed by MIT Media Lab. Kids will learn fundamental computer programming concepts, techniques and best practices while learning to code interactive computer programs and games based upon the TechSmartKids Coders methodology. This camp is intended for students that are new to the TechSmartKids program and is a pre-requisite for TechSmartKids more advanced Coding Classes. 425-786-7824
