Want to find out if a career in aviation or the Air Force Academy is for you? Apply for the Teen Aviation Camp today! Camp is held June 18-24 in Colorado Springs, CO at the USAF Academy. 2nd Annual Kid's Safety Boot Camp - Angel Fire, NM
The second annual Kid's Safety Boot Camp will be held on May 20th from 8:30AM to 4:30PM. This years camp is for students completing grades five through 7. Registration is limited to 25 students. Hey there parents! We will be having a Kids Retreat for 3RD-5TH GRADERS out at Faith Christian Camp on February 12th! Arrival time is at 6:30 on that Friday and then pick up will be by 11:00am on Saturday morning. Dinner and brunch will be served. The cost is $10 per kid. Matt Johnson is the Dean for this retreat. There will be lots of games and fun activities for your child to participate in that evening. If you have any questions send us a message. We will be posting any updates or details on this page. Teen Camps- Handbuilding with Clay! - Artworks Texas Studio
This special camp is designed for teens who want to get their hands into clay for 3 hours each day! Teens who have already participated in an Artworks Texas pottery class or workshop are welcome to attend this camp. Students who already have experience with clay will be involved in more advanced projects. Handbuilding is the oldest form of working with clay. Ancient techniques were used to create tools for everyday living, long before the invention of the pottery wheel. Students will explore many aspects of creating with clay off the wheel. Techniques such as coil, pinch pots & slabs will be used in combination to create work during the week. At the end of camp, all projects will be fired & ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks. Robotics Vehicles - College Prep Middle
Robotics Vehicles – (6th - 8th Grade) Students will build Vehicles using Mindstorms robotics equipment. Students will advance on their programming skills and manipulate the Vehicles with coding on a laptop. There is a limit to 16 children for the class. The curriculum for the Robotics Club is different for each quarter, allowing for new material to be added per quarter. But the different curriculum also allows for new students to join in without having had previous Robotics experience. Students do not need to bring anything to the Club.
