LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Day Camp 9-4pm wk 2 - Frankfort Park District
The Fort Frankfort Adventures Summer Day Camp is back for another awesome summer. This camp is designed for children entering 1st - 6th grade this fall. This full day camp will provide plenty of outdoor activities, water days arts & crafts and a feild trip each week. Fort Frankfort Summer Adventures Summer Day Camp will be held a Commisioners Park, located at 22108 S. 80th Ave. in Frankfort. The Frankfort Park District continues its partnership with School District 157C for the use of Chelsea Middle School, which is located next to Commisioners Park. We will use the facility for before and after camp and during inclement weather conditions. The camp will run from 9-4pm, Monday thru Friday, with a bfore and after care option. Bring a lunch and water bottle each day. Luch may be included on certain field trip days.Registration must be done in person at our main office located at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak Street. INSTRUCTOR Staff

Life Teen December Retreat
Great News!!! Life Teen will have our annual December Retreat on Dec 18-20. This is an overnight off campus retreat at the Warren Willis Methodist Camp in Fruitland Park Florida. Myself, the Core, College Core, and Priest will be gearing up for a fantastic, funifilled, Jesus weekend Life Teen style!!! So parents encourage your teens to come to this life changing weekend. An overnight Permission slip is required and the cost is $90. This covers transportation, food, lodging, and camp facilities!! As a challenge to our teens if we get 200 teens on retreat Fr. Brian will shave his beard and I will shave my head. So pass this onto any parent or teen you know. Please pray for this weekend. Memphis Goalkeeper Academy is holding a summer camp for all goalkeepers U8-U17 at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex, July 18th-21th. Felted Bags and Purses - Artists Exchange
This 4 week workshop will focus on making bags and purses using a resist method of wet felting. For many, felt is a crafting material sold in squares made out of some mish-mosh of synthetic fibers. Felting is actually extremely natural and is one of the most ancient art forms in mankinds history. It is still a widely used method which can create anything from clothing to toys and even houses. In this class, students will learn the basic process of wet felting which creates wool fabric by layering raw wool fibers, adding warm soapy water and a little elbow grease. This is an inter-generational class. The felting process is simple but can be very versatile which makes it a great opportunity for parents and children to work together side by side.
