Rutgers 2016 Symphonic Wind Band and Chamber Music Camp - Rehearsal Hall
This is an audition-only program. All wishing to register for the Symphonic Wind Band and Chamber Music Institute must first complete the Participant Questionnaire () and receive an acceptance letter before proceeding with registration in this portal. If you have auditioned and received your 2016 acceptance letter, you may add a tuition and proceed with registration. Cartooning Art Camp for Kids - Visual Art Institute
Everyone loves cartoons! Learn the basics of cartooning focusing on the action line, gesture, expression, features, colors, textures, and values. Kids will review lots of popular cartoon works from Disney to Dreamworks. We will assign traits for the cartoon character, and then design original cartoons with those traits. Included in this workshop will be 2 days on caricature exaggeration practice. Kids will tap into their imaginations by coming up with names and titles for their own comic masterpieces. Spring Peepers: March 24th Listen for me on a spring night, on a wet night, on a rainy night. Listen for me on a still night, For in the night, I sing. (by Joyce Sidman). Campers hop in to our pond and join us as we celebrate our awesome amphibians. Slimey salamanders, fantastic frogs, toadally cool toads will come out to play. We will take a hike to our local pond and muck about searching for spring peepers. Hop to it, you dont want to miss our frog races. Campers will make frogalicious snacks and funky frog crafts.
