MCC Kid Camp - Alliance, OH
Kids ages 7 to 11 (by 9/1/15) are invited to participate in 1, 2, or 3 activities for 3 days in July. They can sign up for Basketball from 9:30-11:30, Soccer from 12:30-2:30, Art from 3:00-5:00, or a combination of 2 or 3 of these activities. Costs are as follows: $10 per kid for 1 activity, $20 per kid for 2 activities, or $25 for ALL 3, which will include lunch and a snack each day. In the event that your household has more than 2 kids participating, cost is a MAX of $25 per family for 1 Activity, $50 MAX for 2 activities, and $60 MAX for ALL 3 Activities. EVERY KID WHO PARTICIPATES, REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY ACTIVITIES, WILL RECEIVE AN EVENT SHIRT TO BE WORN EACH DAY. Signups for this event begin May 3rd and run through June 14th. Period 4 - Keeping a Writers Notebook - NBJH Room 329
Each student will be given a Writers Notebook. This is a safe place for students to keep ideas and thoughts like real authors do. We will explore different genres and mentor text. The students will explore ideas, develop volume, revise, edit and publish final pieces of their writing. This will be accomplished through a Writers Workshop format. This class is based on a Ralph Fletcher idea of keeping a Writers Notebook. 8475043400 x2520

Wacky Water Week - Old Trail School
Campers will splash their way through a week of awesome aquatic activities with a variety of water adventures in some of the most elaborate aquatic facilities that Northeast Ohio has to offer. Under the watchful eyes of John Pintola and Jeff Eason (certified lifeguards), your child will enjoy water slides, lazy rivers, diving boards, zip lines, paddle boats, kayaking and more. Bring swimsuit, towel, sack lunch, water bottle and SUNSCREEN each day. Fee includes admission to all water parks. NOTE: This program begins one hour later and ends one hour later, so please adjust your transportation arrangements accordingly.
