Environmental Engineering - The Globe Academy
Students will experience an immersion into the multidisciplinary process of engineering by studying the areas of electrical, structural, mechanical and construction by participating in this class. Students will learn how renewable energy sources (wind, biomass, geothermal, water and solar) are leveraged in the engineering field to make our world more eco-friendly. Join us to watch your youth transform into mini-engineers as they explore ways to solve the worlds greatest energy problems. 4 - Spring Break Fine Arts Camp - Midland Community Theatre
Do you know WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE this Spring Break? At MCT, of course! Join us for a week long camp as each grade level works on a performance piece inspired by Maurice Sendaks Where the Wild Things Are or one of his other works, like Little Bear, Chicken Soup with Rice, or Higglety Pigglety Pop. Students will study drama, art, puppetry, dance and music throughout the week in addition to creating a performance piece for presentation to family and friends on the last day of classes. 432 682 2544 x105

Did you know that a group of owls is called a Parliament? Or that there are over 200 different species of owls? Come create your own new species in this fun ceramic workshop. Using a clay sphere as a base, youll design your owls wings, face, feathers and colors. 970.728.3886

Camp Chemistry Morning - Newtons Attic
Camp Chemistry can be taken as a full day class or half-day, either morning or afternoon. To register for the full day, please register for both half-days. Morning and afternoon experiments will not be repeated, so students will have new material in each session. Glowing water, blue and red flames, and mountains of oozing foam are everyday occurrences in Camp Chemistry at Newtons Attic. This camp will expose students to the fun and sometimes bizarre world of chemistry, chemical reactions and exciting things that can be made with the right mixture of knowledge, chemicals and materials. In addition to playing with (safe) chemicals, students will work in the shop to fabricate various items, such as test tube holders and similar gadgets that will aid in their exploration of the world of chemistry. Everyone gets to keep everything they make or do at Newtons Attic so that the fun and learning can continue long after camp is over. So, lets all put on our safety glasses, lab aprons and rubber gloves and see what strange potions we can concoct. 859-368-7334
