We will have youth lead group leaders, guest speakers, games, sport activities, campfires, skits, and much more on the Guadalupe River. Build and program robots in this introductory robotics class using the LEGO® WeDo system. Learn basic programming skills, simple engineering concepts, and the names of robot components. Work in small groups to complete several projects using tilt and motion sensors. This is a great way to prepare young robotics enthusiasts for our more advanced robotics programs. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please complete and submit the Child Enrollment Record prior to the first day of camp. Please refer to the PACE Camps Parent Handbook prior to attending camp. Half-day campers must come to camp with a peanut-free snack and water bottle. Shine your tiaras, stretch your tiptoes and dust off your tutus. Spend the week learning dances and stories about your favorite Princesses! Crafts will be made each day and our week will end with a Princess Tea Party (with all the dancers dressed as their favorite princess or prince, of course!) and an informal showing of our Princess Dance for friends and family! Princes are welcome too! Materials: A separate fee of $10 is payable to the instructor on the first day of camp for arts & craft materials. Attire: Leotard, tights, and ballet shoes (girls); shorts, T-shirts, and ballet shoes or socks (boys). Bring a princess dress, prince attire, or costume on the last day of camp. This will start on September 29th and conclude on November 3rd. Each club will meet 5 times during this period. Clubs are available to students in grades 2 through 6. Please review the club descriptions to see what options are available for your child. Registration is only available online, please do not send anything via mail or email. Clubs will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis and fill up quickly! Once a session is filled it will no longer be available on the web site. Enrollment will be open September 19th @ 7pm and conclude at midnight September 23th. All clubs are $35. All payments are due upon registration. You will receive confirmation of enrollment via email. All club notifications will be sent via email. If a club is cancelled for any reason (i.e. inclement weather) there will be no make-ups.
