This is going to be a fun event! We are partnering with Community Hope and Action and West River Valley Thrives to bring you an evening of fun and community support. CHAC has been bringing you the Third Saturday free monthly dinners and concerts for the past year and on December 19 they have welcomed CFK to be there as well with a silent auction to raise money for our wonderful afterschool programs. Come see and bid on beautiful hand made items from local artisans as well as ski pases from Stratton and Mount Snow and many other treats and surprises! It is the season of giving and gratitude. Here is a fun way you can help ensure the future of these enriching programs for our kids, while also getting some of your holiday shopping done!

Open Studio for Kid n Me (ages 1+) offers parents and caregivers a great opportunity to get creative with your child and leave the mess for us! The HCA will provide a stimulating playground where you and your children can drop in at any time and play with paint and tactile materials to your hearts content. All supplies will be provided. We offer a weekly drop-in option for the most flexibility, but you may also register for a 3 week session to save! DROP IN: $25 for caregiver + child; $15 for additional siblings or second caregiver. Its all about color and imagination this session, which will explore artwork by famous Modern and Post Modern masters like Henri Matisse, Paul Gauguin and Pablo Picasso. These artists experimented with depicting the world using fantastic colors, and a bold and expressive style of brushwork. We will experience color in a whole new way while working in fine art materials, found objects, collage, printmaking, and more! Campers will be inspired to create their own wild and wonderful masterpieces.
