LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Diving Camp Session 4 - Aquatic Center
We will be offering diving class to ages 6 to 18 years of age. The only requirement is that you are able to swim 25-yards of the pool and tread water for 1 minute in water over their heads. Basic diving skills and safety will be taught from the side of the pool and on two 1 - meter boards. Each child will progress at their own rate, beginning with essential techniques, while working on strength, flexibility and mechanics. Wahoo for the Thanksgiving Teen Event. I love this event! We'll do some outreach on Wednesday (probably giving out hot chocolate or tea at the balloon inflation) and then partner with Gobble Gobble Give to rock out Thanskgiving Morning serving--and then head home to do Thanksgiving with our own families. If you're coming from further away and want to do Thanksgiving here-that's also totally cool. Get excited and save the date!
Kid's Culinary Day Camp at LeTourneau Christian Center - Rushville, NY
Kid's Culinary Day Camp at LeTourneau is a wonderful opportunity for kids ages five to thirteen to experience the culinary arts in an exciting and safe Christian environment. Kids Culinary Day Camp includes all of the following exciting aspects of the culinary arts: an introduction to the culinary arts, food safety, cooking, food tastings, crafts and games. We also offer a Bible Study time to explore how God uses "food" to teach us eternal truths. Kids ages five to eight will meet Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am until 11:30 am. While kids ages nine to thirteen will meet from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm. All participants will receive a free chef's hat and specially designed t-shirt. May Session 5 includes Field Day 2016!! Field Day May 20th PE is a 90 minute class that allows students to explore many sports in a short time. This program is designed so that students can be ACTIVE and learn about athletics and team sports. Each class begins with a dynamic warm-up and stretch. We rotate through agility stations and drills. Each unit of study includes sport specific drills and games. Including rules of the game, strategy and the fundamentals required to play.
