Kid's Spring Break Camp - Denver, CO
Focus and fun is the premise behind our children's day camp run by qualified staff from Enshin Karate and Radiant Beginnings Yoga. Our martial arts class, is taught by 4 time world champion Mike Ninomiya and his lovely wife Diana Ninomiya. Both of whom have been certified to teach in Denver Public Schools in the Radiant Beginnings enrichment program. We have a wide variety of activities involved besides martial arts and yoga; West African drumming and chess workshops are two other focuses mixed into this camp designed to bring fun, focus and stress management in the mind body realm. Join in the fun! Our younger campers enjoy busy days filled with games, science activities, Spanish classes, arts and crafts, organized sports, drama, story time, and field trips—all arranged around a weekly theme. Theres also daily swim instruction for our five- to seven-year-old campers given by Red Cross certified lifeguards. Fencing captures the imagination of kids of all ages, but it requires a trained, experienced instructor to learn safely and correctly. The Young Scholars Fencing Program is being run by the coaches of the Central PA Fencing Association. Coach Wes Glon, the Head Coach of the PSU Fencing Team personally trains and hires the coaches for this program. Coach Chuck has 40 years of fencing experience and has been part of the CPFA programs since 2006. Your child will learn the basics of sabre fencing with an emphasis on sportsmanship, safety and history.
