My son looks forward to this camp every year!
Children with intellectual and developmental disabilities enjoy summer camps as well as anyone else does. My 10 year old son is intellectually delayed. He looks forward to this camp every summer. In fact, he keeps asking us how many days until camp? He likes to swim, make crafts, sing and learn new skills at summer camp. Registrations made within fourteen days prior to each camp will be considered late registration and will incur an additional $15 fee per attendee (due at check-in). Annual Camping & Kid Fish Event in the Park - W.m. Brook Park
The annual camping and kid fish event will be held on June 5-6, 2015 at W. M. Brook Park. Registration will be held on Friday, June 5th at 6pm followed by a hot dog supper, movie in the park (The Goonies) , and campfire fun. Participants can then go camping or fishing. Its going to be an exciting time filled with fun activities such as paint-ball wars, wall climbing, zip-lining, archery, etc. But most importantly, get to know God more deeply and experience the presence of God. The Shepherdstown Elementary Day Camp offers weekly themed crafts and activities. T-shirt is included in camp price. Camp hours are 8:00am-4:00pm.Full payment is due at time of registration. Parent or guardian MUST complete a camp registration form as well a health form for each child they are registering. STATE LICENSING DISCLAIMER: Due to state law regulations we are required to limit the number of days a child is allowed to attend summer day camps, or any camp lasting more than 6 hours. Put me in coach...Im ready to play! This camp will focus on baseball fundamentals and techniques from hitting, fielding and throwing to pitching, base running and more. Campers will participate in daily drills, scrimmages, stations and contests to develop big league skills. Camp will be conducted rain or shine. Parents will be provided with information on how to handle rain days on the first day of camp. Supplies: Campers should bring their own bat and glove, and a packed lunch with a beverage and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend campers use sunscreen with a SPF of at least 30.
