STRIDE is a fun after-school running and character-building program for boys in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. Throughout the program, the focus is on doing ones personal best, not competing with each other. STRIDE meets twice a week for a total of 10 weeks. The practices are held after school and last for 75 minutes. Each session includes a lesson/discussion, a game/activity, and a running workout with trained coaches. At the end of 10 weeks, the boys will run in a 5K with more than 1000 other area youth. 267-405-7520

Gear Up Football Presents: Inaugural FREE Youth Football Camp - Waxaha
Gear Up Football is excited to announce its Inaugural FREE Youth Football Camp! This 1-Day camp is for ages 6 - 14 (1st Grade - 8th Grade). Our camp instructors will include current and former NFL, CFL & AFL players who will provide a hands-on approach with the campers. The camp will focus on proper warm-up techniques, positional fundamentals, and most importantly safety training! *This is a non-contact clinic, so there is no equipment needed What is Gear Up Football? Gear Up Football is a division of Gear Up Sports LLC. Gear Up Football's sole purpose is to teach the fundamentals of the game with a safety first mindset while instilling our character-based training for the youth of Ellis County and surrounding areas. We are still looking for some interested teens for the TCTA Theatre Arts Program! It's free, there are 2 sessions at 2 different locations June 13-July 8 @ Hancock Recreation Center July 11- Aug. 5 @ Doris Miller Auditorium Monday - Friday 1-5PM Write, direct, perform and tour to other camps a contemporary performance piece that will include written word, dance, puppetry, etc. The Artists we have hired for the camp have an extensive performance and technical background. You will be taking tours of local theatre spaces and seeing performances around town. This is truly a unique experience if you have an interest in the theatre arts and performance art. Ages 11-15. Join into the fun of being in the wilderness with our amazing female leaders. This expedition is about reminding each other that girls ROCK! Swing from the Bolton Adventure Center ropes course, hike & climb at the Falls of Lana, and explore the depths of Weybridge or Morris Cave-- the new friends, confidence and self-esteem will be unavoidable! 802-657-3872
Math Brain Benders - The Evergreen School
Defeat vampires using algebraic equations! Destroy an out-of-control asteroid through geometry! Survive a camping trip through the desert with complex calculations! Students will spend the week problem solving their way out of tricky situations and puzzles using numbers, logic, shapes, and codes. A fun, challenging week of math! 206-957-1533

It is time to make a wide variety of accessories for your favorite 18-inch dolls! You do not need to own any particular doll, and you are welcome to bring a doll to class. We will be very busy each day creating fun, new accessories for your doll and you. Class includes a trip to the American Girl Store at the Mall of America. 6127287745 x2
KHK: Cowboy Overnight Camp - SD Discovery Center
Qualified staff, experienced horses and a rodeo and roping arena will be the setting for this camp. The atmosphere will encourage campers to advance their riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge and enjoy riding. All campers will get to try their hand at rodeo and roping events. Instruction will be provided and all level of riders will be accommodated. Math and science concepts will be integrated into all skill development for campers. Everyone will ride and learn horse and ranch routines. This is an overnight camp. Chuck wagon/Campfire cooking will occur, (weather permitting). Bring a sleeping bag, overnight bag, long pants, sturdy shoes or boots, sunscreen and a jacket. Riding Helmets will be provided.
