Unfortunately, parents dont get Spring Break like kids do, so we are now offering a safe and fun place for your child(ren) from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on March 21st-25th! Daily field trips, fun activities and sports opportunities will keep your child busy. Each day will center around a different theme. Two locations available. Discounted price for enrolling all 5 days. Theater Camp discount also available for those in all 5 days of Spring Break Camp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Participants in Spring Break camp will be bused to and from the Flag Theater daily. First off, forgetting to pack a toothbrush or comb is very common. Summer camps are always fully equipped to handle such issues. These programs and their talented staff will not allow children to go hungry or without important items like toiletries. There are usually extra items on site for youth to wear.
Many programs have everything from extra sleeping bags, blankets, and sheets to extra shampoo. Parents may be called if the child needs something specific or important like medications. Teens (13 and up) are invited to join us. We will be seriving in the storehouse with World Vision in the Bronx. We have done cool stuff with them before and I'm looking forward to serving with them again. We will have a short devotion and grab lunch as well.
Harmony Hill QUEST Retreat 2016 - Fulton, MO
QUEST is a retreat for young adults (age 17 and up). This year's theme is "Going Global: Engaging Our World from Home." Speaking is Jason Dodson, currently on home assignment from his work in China. Leading worship is Rachel Painter, member of the El Dorado Springs Church of God (Holiness). Early bird registration is $25. Pre-register at www.hhyc.net by Feb. 22 to receive this price. SpaceTimes Space Chase Camp is a hands-on, minds-on outer space adventure where kids get to work individually and in teams to try and track down an alien mad scientist determined to turn off the Sun. Its non-stop fun and learning as they test out their spaceship and rover piloting skills, go hands-on for some out-of-this-world classroom space science experiments and put on their space detective hats to try and figure out how to catch this crafty extraterrestrial. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please complete and submit the Child Enrollment Record prior to the first day of camp. Please refer to the PACE Camps Parent Handbook prior to attending camp. Full-day campers must come to camp with a peanut-free lunch, two snacks, and water bottle. Grades: K - 12th This weeks theme "Super Hero Week" Parents, is your child ready to have fun and make new friends this summer? If yes, then bring your child to the coolest hot spot in town. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. A weekly food menu will be provided at request. If your child has a particular taste, you may consider bringing a sack lunch for your child. The park in the summer is hot, please send your child to the park with a bottle of water and sunscreen. Staff will provide an igloo of cold water for refills. Jump into a comic book with this fun filled camp that will turn our students into superheroes or super villains. Exciting acting games and super acting activities will lead to an epic performance in front of family and friends. INSTRUCTOR JOHN WALDRON received his BFA in theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University. As an actor, director, and instructor, he has been working in the region for over 20 years. He has directed shows at Aldersgate and MVCCT. John can be seen in the motion picture Talk To Me starring Don Cheadle and was featured on Investigative Discovery show Who The Bleep!.
