The Players Camp is a five-day, overnight program designed to give the higher-level junior player an opportunity to develop their game in preparation for high-school/collegiate/tournament golf. Learning sessions will include technical instruction in all parts of the game, course management and mapping, mental training, fitness education, nutrition habits, significant on-course playing time and college recruitment information. Each camper will receive one-on-one instruction with the Stanford Coaching Staff and other DI Coaches and Current Collegiate Players; space is limited for this camp. This camp will offer a skills clinic before breaking into teams and playing a 4v4 festival. The skills clinic will focus on individual technical skills on the ball to develop confidence while dribbling and escaping pressure from opponents. Games will be on a smaller field to help enhance decisions, speed of play and technical abilities under pressure. By condensing the space players are guaranteed to touch the ball more and learn to become better support players for their teammates.
