During the morning, kids take classes in community dance, English team dance, and art, while parents are free to come dance, play music, sing, or simply relax. After lunch, families come back together, for swimming, jamming, playing games, and a series of great classes for all. During the week of camp, a community like no other grows, culminating in a demo day when everyone shows each other what we’ve been doing. Every evening, we come together to dance. If you have a child or teen between the ages of 6 and 18 and they love "Acting Up", please register them for this camp (workshop). Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 11am - 5pm at the Broward County Main Library Auditorium Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. There will be age appropriate acting and singing classes with experienced instructors and assistants. Those who are serious will be casted in Sonya Welch's Stage Play, "Don't Give Up" which was written especially for children & teens. Fishing - Big Fish - McLean Community Center
Fish and Explore will transport campers daily to lakes, rivers and other local waterways. Everyone will catch fish. Campers will be taught the basics of fishing from casting and rigging, to knot tying, to selecting tackle and lures and identifying fish. Advanced lessons on watercraft identification, reading the water, targeting specific species of fish and river navigation are also available. Students will fish different types of water: public and private lakes, reservoirs, ponds, rivers, streams, and creeks over the course of the week. All skill levels of anglers are welcome. The Elite Camp provides an intense, rewarding, and fun experience for campers. The camps unique curriculum balances instructional sessions and live match situations each day. This combination of training and playing helps campers transfer the skills and tactics developed into game play. Each camper is assigned to a team upon arrival at camp.
