Camp: Space Chase (Full Day) - PACE Center
SpaceTimes Space Chase Camp is a hands-on, minds-on outer space adventure where kids get to work individually and in teams to try and track down an alien mad scientist determined to turn off the Sun. Its non-stop fun and learning as they test out their spaceship and rover piloting skills, go hands-on for some out-of-this-world classroom space science experiments and put on their space detective hats to try and figure out how to catch this crafty extraterrestrial. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please complete and submit the Child Enrollment Record prior to the first day of camp. Art Adventures for Kids: Session VI - Farmhouse
This one week half day program is full of colorful summer fun! Kids will create art projects each day with a summer theme. Through projects that include body motion, story-time, and music, campers will create unique pieces of art that connect to science, history, and math. They will work with paper mache, clay, paint and other fun materials. They will also learn fun summer songs and play improv acting games. Volleyball Camp - JrHS/HS Residential Camp - Chico State University - Acker Gym
The Junior High School/High School camp is designed for the boy or girl volleyball player, ages 12-18, who is preparing for the upcoming season. The camp offers the opportunity to explore new techniques for learning the fundamental volleyball skills. The mornings and afternoons will emphasize individual and team skills and how to incorporate them into overall team play. The evenings will be primarily six-on-six team play through various games and tournaments. With great instruction and good competition, the camper should depart camp with a newfound confidence in his or her game. Camp Chemistry Morning - Newtons Attic
Camp Chemistry can be taken as a full day class or half-day, either morning or afternoon. To register for the full day, please register for both half-days. Morning and afternoon experiments will not be repeated, so students will have new material in each session. Glowing water, blue and red flames, and mountains of oozing foam are everyday occurrences in Camp Chemistry at Newtons Attic. This camp will expose students to the fun and sometimes bizarre world of chemistry, chemical reactions and exciting things that can be made with the right mixture of knowledge, chemicals and materials. In addition to playing with (safe) chemicals, students will work in the shop to fabricate various items, such as test tube holders and similar gadgets that will aid in their exploration of the world of chemistry. Everyone gets to keep everything they make or do at Newtons Attic so that the fun and learning can continue long after camp is over.
