With a name like Camp Thunderbird, how could you go wrong? Our son had such a wonderful time. The pictures of his water skiing are the best! He was also very excited about the sailing lessons and has been going around the house tying everything into proper knots. Before we enrolled our boy we were given a complete tour of the grounds and had an opportunity to meet a lot of the staff. Everyone was friendly and professional. I knew our boy would be taken... (11-13) Explore the outdoors through hands on nature activities and fun filled outdoor recreation. Your childs week will be split between nature activities like wilderness survival classes, orienteering, GPS skills, and other nature lessons AND outdoor recreation like hiking, caving, water sports (canoeing, kayaking and stand up paddleboarding) and indoor rock climbing.
