Personal Finance 101 - Camp/Workshop Leader: Gardner Barrier Dates: June 27 - July 1 Rising grades: 6 - 9 In this camp your child will work through fun and engaging conversations and games that will start their journey into financial literacy. We will play games that introduce financial topics, we will explore spreadsheet functionality as we design and evaluate plans, and we will learn some basic lessons about how money works. This "camp" will feel at times like a summer seminar, at times like game play, and at times like group analysis. We will be thinking hard, having meaningful conversations, and having a good time. Participants will finish up the week feeling like blinders have been taken off. They will see the world differently. And theyll have fun, too! All students need to bring is a curiosity about how money works, a willingness to think about things differently, and a desire to learn as much as possible. We will not be leaving campus. My twin son and daughter, aged 10, can’t wait for Camp Si-La Meo every summer. It is designed for ages 5-15 years old and has a variety of activities for each age group. There are many outdoor activities: rock climbing, swimming, archery, boating, hiking, rifle training and horseback riding. This camp provides experiences my kids would otherwise not experience.... We invite you all to an amazing opportunity to spend time with your church family this summer. We will be having our annual Youth Camp at Aldersgate Camps & Retreats. Final Summer 2016 Kid's Riding Camp - Georgetown, TX
Sign up now for our last riding camp of the summer for children ages 3 - 18. Camps are half days, and kids learn about safety first, equipment, horses and riding in our soft-sand enclosed and covered round pen and enclosed outdoor arena. Kid's are outside getting exercise in the sunshine and fresh air, learning a new skill, having fun, and gaining in self-confidence. What could be better? All classes taught by Eric Clarke, horseman and natural horsemanship clinician with 35+years experience as a professional horse and people trainer, assisted by several of his horsemanship apprentices. Class size is limited. All equpment and horses provided, except for boots (with a bit of a heel please; no sneakers) and helmets (no bicycle helmets). Siblings may share helmets as needed. The all skills camp covers all aspects of the game of volleyball with an emphasis on fundamentals. The techniques and skills taught in this camp are designed to provide a strong foundation that allows players to develop into high level athletes as they continue to play. All skills will be covered including passing, setting, hitting, defense, blocking, serving as well as offensive and defensive systems. Every registration requires full payment. A $50 fee will be retained on all cancellations for any reason to cover credit card fees and administrative expenses. The remaining amount will be credited back to ones account if paid by credit card. If paid by check, the University will cut a check back to the original payee. For prompt processing, refund requests should be made prior to the start of camp. A pro-rated fee system will be in effect for those campers only attending partial days of camp.
