How Are Staff Members At Camp Trained?
During staff training, counselors and other staff members are trained in basic youth development, behavior management and common issues, group formation, diversity and cultural competency. Common issues like homesickness are also touched on, and counselors are reminded of the importance of encouraging youth to reach their full potential. The camp’s culture and mission as well as the schedule and related activities are also explained in full detail. Additionally, staff learn basic first aid and how to manage different emergencies.

Teen Plein Air: Art In Motion Camps #1 & 2 - Bow, WA
Choose from Camp #1 July 11th-15th or Camp #2 July 18th-July 22nd. Class Cost per week $87.50. Camp #1: 3:00pm-5:00pm -- Plein Air (**Students encouraged to participate in Part I & II) "Examining our surroundings in detail, seeing beauty not only in the spectacular but also in the smallest growing things" (Lowenfeld) . In addition to work in our cozy studio, small Plein-Air outings will be held at 2 locations during this one week workshop. Students will learn how to connect with their surroundings. Students develop their observation skills and increase their knowledge about the world around them. Parents expected to drive students to the Plein-Air location specified prior to class. Camp #2: 3:00pm-5:00pm -- Plein Air II: Art In Motion This is a stand alone class of can be the second step to week 1. This week will focus on gesture drawing, composition, and how to record what you see when it’s moving. There will be a short lesson with a slide show of Degas and after some skills in the studio are absorbed we will visit the dance studio and draw the dancers in motion! We will also design, draw, and paint a rollercoaster bringing the element of architecture into art! At the end of Week 2 there will be an artist...

A close look at the person and work of Jesus—because to known Him is to love Him! Some good, hard thinking about what that means to you in your daily Bible time…relationships with Christian brothers and sisters…testimony to the lost… That’s what this conference will be getting at, with seven teaching sessions, four intensive small-group breakouts, and some time to hang out with other serious Christians. It’s a new kind of conference for people 18-30±, who are ready to get serious. Kid Summer Camp - Eatonton, GA
This camp is from 1-4 pm for up to 12 students. A variety of equine topics will be covered and students will have hands on learnining on brushing, saddling, basic knoweledge and care, and riding. Your chef will prepare and bake things like cupcake pancakes, corndog muffins, star spangled strawberries, homemade mini pizzas, and confetti cake in a jar! We will provide tickets and invite the other students to come and taste some of our fun menu creations.
