Things are coming into place fast for Bethel's Student ministry, Beta Sigma, to have our very own summer camp, designed specificaly by and for Bethel students and their friends. Many exciting details are still falling into place, but some very important ones are already set: - Our worship band for the whole week is The Hardcastles, our camp worship band for the last two years at Camp Eagle. - Our speaker is former hockey player, youth evangelist and long time youth pastor, Shawn Roberts, who has spoken to thousands upon thousand of students and seen thousands come to know Christ. - Activities we know we'll have: river tubing, swimming, gaga ball, ulimate, football, hiking, square dancing, bow and arrow tag, airsoft, bonfires, small group talks, team challenges, camp challenges... - Best of all, we'll be serivng the community and the camp throughout the week doing service project. - So many more things to come, shirts, journals, themed meals and more...we'll keep you updated as things move. Singing for the Stage and Beyond - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This class is designed to introduce and strengthen the fundamentals of voice/singing for the adult voice. Students will learn proper breathing placement and projection techniques, as well as technical and interpretive principles. In addition, students will learn to select and prepare songs for their particular voices. Limited to ages 17 and older. INSTRUCTOR BIO: BEVERLEY BENDA, a professional singer by trade, is a classical soprano with The United States Army Band Pershings Own, and Programming NCO and Script Writer for their Public Affairs Office. She has performance and teaching degrees from James Madison University, Eastern Illinois University, and The Eastman School of Music, and has appeared in a variety of musical productions including Brigadoon, Carmen, Carousel, Oklahoma!, Kismet, The Pirates of Penzance, Dialogue of the Carmelites, My Fair Lady, The Music Man, Hollywood Pinafore, Its A Grand Night for Singing, and the first revival of Call Me Mister. A private voice teacher and vocal coach, her class at LTA is the longest-running in the theaters history. She is also on the LTA Board of Governor and is an award-winning costumer. 7036835778 x2

The Spring Skills Academy is designed to help players master need fundamental skills that will allow them to be successful in games. This program is perfect for players of all skill levels that want to master the basics. The following skills will be taught: Shooting mechanics, footwork, ball handling, passing, finishing, defense, how to use screens & fundamental moves. Pure Sweat Elite Skills coach, Matt Pugh will lead the Hannibal, MO Spring Skills Academy. The training days available are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Training times are TBD. All scheduling will be coordinated by Matt Pugh.
