There are low cost or free day camp programs offered for children with special needs. Programs that are best suited for children have to provide very rigid structure, well-trained staff, and individualized attention. Some special needs programs are incorporated into a regular camp program, the “inclusion” programs. They offer a one-on-one staff attention for children with special needs, but provide an opportunity for your children to enjoy a regular camp program with other children. Depending on the needs of your children, they may require a program, that is designed specifically for children with special needs and is a separate camp....

We’re looking forward to a packed weekend of bible study, worship, fellowship, service and fun. Kid's Circus Camp June 2016 - Beloit, WI
Pure Gravity Fitness's Annual Kid's Circus Camp!! For kids ages 6-12. We'll be exploring movement and the many aspects of circus performance. This will include learning tricks on aerial apparatuses, tumbling, balance, hula hoop and juggling, costuming and circus history. This camp is designed for kids to discover movement, foster creativity, and most importantly have FUN!! It is a three-day camp running the last week in June, Monday Wednesday and Friday from 9am to Noon. Cost is $85 for all three days and includes all activities and a snack! We will also be hosting a camp the second week of August!!

Creative Design & Build - The Swain School
In this session in the Makerspace we will combine two great activities - both provide the camper to express their creativity with tile and glass. Using broken tile pieces, the children will create and build a small mosaic tile table. Then with stained glass they will have a choice to make items such as boxes or sun catchers. Experience the full process of wet felting by layering raw wool fibers, adding warm soapy water and a little elbow grease to create wearable works of art. Summer Arts Academy 5/6 - Oakwood
For children entering 5th or 6th grade: Each day, students will attend six periods with a fifteen-minute recess and snack after third period. They will attend four intellectually stimulating and fun-filled classes including: Brain Booster, Adventures in Art, Science Shakedown, and Fun and Fitness. For the remaining two periods, children may choose between On Stage, a performing arts class which spans two periods, or a Keyboarding and Wild About Writing option.
