04th 2016 Camp, Horse Lovers OVERNIGHT - Blue Point Stables
This "Horse Lovers" OVERNIGHT Camp begins on a Monday at 9:00 am and continues until Friday at 4:00 pm. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts, Horse Health and Welfare and Swimming Pool fun at the end of each day. Plus, making friends or renewing previous relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing on cooler days and rain gear when needed. Their breakfasts, lunches, dinners and drinks for each day will be provided by BPS. Daily change of clothing is recommended during the hotter weeks. WEEKS OF DISCOVERY is an exciting vacation break program filled with age-appropriate activities for children in Grades PreK – 5th. The program takes full advantage of a gymnasium and rooftop playground as well as the closeness of Central Park. Throughout the week, children investigate themes incorporated into art, science, and nature activities and share their discoveries with each other.
