Kids will also watch educational programs about ceramics and clay , and will also participate in games and crafts. Sessions are full day (8-4) or half day (mornIng 8-12, or afternoon 12-4), you can do both days, one day, half days or full days, it's up to you! Prices are $80 full day, or $45 for half day. Sprouts Week 10 - Terra Firma Farm
This camp is designed for our 3, 4, & 5 year old sprouting farmers. Children will be involved in animal care activities, meeting the new farm arrivals, nature walks, and simple farm cooking activites. These day camps are offered to teach responsibility and kindness for the farm, each other and our environment. Each day is planned for our Sprouting Farmers and offers an excellent hands-on opportunity for exploration and growth. Note: This camp runs Monday- Friday from 9-noon 860-535-8171
Bump, Set, Spike Volleyball Camp - Solorsano Middle School
The National Academy of Athletics volleyball camps offer beginner to intermediate players the opportunity to build a solid volleyball foundation. Each day is filled with fundamental skill progression drills, easy to understand instruction, as well as games & competitions. Campers work in small groups learning team drills & time is spent on individual skill development as well. Our volleyball camps feature coaching staffs made up of experienced coaches and players. Campers receive positive reinforcement throughout the day, to help build their confidence. This is a great place to develop their individual skills in a fun & positive environment. Includes: ? Activities: Horseback riding, high ropes course, sleep out under the stars, tie-dye, arts & crafts, backcountry cooking, gold mining history, riparian ecosystem exploration, rock smashing, archery, campfire, night hike - - - - - - - - - - - Who is this camp for? Cal-Wood veterans, friends new and old, summer campers, time travelers, craftsmen, Coloradans, history buffs and fun-havers *PLEASE NOTE: All camps are co-ed during the day. Fundamentals Sports Camp is a six week program which may include basketball, baseball, soccer, lacrosse, Summer Olympics, and flag football. Each week we focus on learning the rules and history of a sport, playing it at least once each day. Old camp favorites such as dodge ball, capture the flag, four square, and pirate ball are incorporated into the program as well. However, Fundamentals Sports Camp is not only about the games we play but it is our "off the field" curriculum that sets us apart form other sports day camps. Informal discussions on sports current events, character-building, sportsmanship, and choosing role models are held daily. Fundamentals teaches children the value of teamwork and commitment which are the essential elements of success in sports, as well as in life.
