May 2-24 -- 2 practices per week Mondays: 6:00 to 7:30 @ Bishop Kelly High School Tuesdays: 6:00 to 7:30 @ Boise Valley Adventist School Scrimmages: Tuesdays, May 10, 17, & 24 7:30 to 8:30 @ Boise Valley Adventist School -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Ignition program is designed specifically for experienced basketball players in 2nd through 7th grades who are serious about putting in the hard work necessary to take their basketball game to the next level. This training program equips athletes with the fundamental skills they need to be ready for the competitive performance basketball arena. Focus is placed heavily on ball handling, personal offensive moves, shooting, defense, and conditioning. Athletes will also participate in Ignition scrimmages to put their skills to the test and highlight their improvement. A big part of competitive basketball preparation is developing the character qualities necessary to handle pressure and persevere. Our coaches are committed to growing each athletes character along with their athletic ability. We all know that the YMCA has been around for years. But instead of a outdated program, the summer day camp was fun and fresh. Between the swimming, the sports and the crafts our kids were certainly kept busy. Not once did we hear, "I'm bored!" That's a huge change of pace for them. The Cobra's youth football camp is a non-contact football camp that cultivates talented young people in an effort to unite a community that has deeply supported athletics and leadership building. Participants of the Cobra's Camp will receive personal coaching from TN Cobra players and other former college players, and trained coaches. All youth (boys & girls) between the ages of 5-13 are encouraged to participate. We only have 100 spots; this event is being held at an indoor athletic facility and will not cancel due to weather. Join us for our annual summer camp where kids participate in a stimulating and competitive environment. Focus will be on helping kids with teamwork and fundamentals while playing a variety of sports throughout the week. Prizes and awards will be given out daily, and participants will be rewarded for effort and sportsmanship. Campers are encouraged to bring a snack and water bottle. This 3 Week class will introduce your child(ren) to 3D Modeling and Design with the use of Tinkercad and Thingiverse. Each student will learn 3D printer set up, 3D printing best practices and troubleshooting, design their own projects for 3D printing and receive an introduction to 3D Scanning.
