Camp Angel Teen Mentor Application and Training - Mendota Heights, MN
Angel Foundation’s Facing Cancer Together Teen Mentor program, provides a leadership opportunity for teens (13-18) to apply, be assessed and trained to be leaders within Facing Cancer Together programs, specifically for Camp Angel. Teen Mentors will be introduced to the field of human services, as well as provide experiences in groups with children and their families who have been struck by cancer. If teens have never been a camper, teens will be asked to be a camper in June camp in order to be an August Teen Mentor. To be a Teen Mentor you need to go through the application and selection process. Tween/teen Yoga Camp - Camp Hill, PA
The focus for this program is to inspire and empower tweens and teens and to establish a deeper sense of self respect and self discipline so they can live a more balanced and fulfilled life. We will empower tweens/teens through journaling, breathing practices, meditation, aerial yoga and mat yoga. We'll have fun and learn to trust others and ourselves through partner yoga poses. Though drop in students are welcome, we encourage participants to enroll in the the entire four week program because each week we will build upon the lessons of the previous week. Camp runs 5-6:15pm on Tuesday, July 19 and 26th, August 9 and 16. Please note there is a break the week of August 2. A minimum of 4 students is required to run the program, so please register early! A refund will be given if the minimum number of participants is not met. There will be a maximum of 8 participants, based on the number of aerial yoga hammocks, so pre-registration is required. The second informational meeting will be on Sunday, January 31st. If you are applying to be a full time counselor for the first time, you are required to attend at least one of the meetings. This hands-on experience will be helpful for students applying for summer jobs and internships or preparing for the college admission process. So You Want to Be an Animal Trainer: March 21 st Lions, Tigers & Bears OH MY. Well here at EcoAdventures its Gators , Snakes & Lizards, OH MY! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be an animal keeper? If yes, then youve come to the right place. Not only has some of our staff worked in some great zoos and aquariums but we have a great collection of our own! This camp was designed for students that want to find out what it is like to work with animals. Maybe you could be a dolphin trainer or animal trainer, or even a vet? It a lot of fun working with animals but you will also be introduced to the non –glamorous things you do as a zoo keeper. Thats right- the yucky stuff- Clean poop! We wont make you clean it- but you can get to make, inspect and eat your own edible chocolate poop for a snack to give you energy to prepare to pass the physical tests: shoveling hay, carrying heavy buckets of food? Little Red Spying Hood Production Fee Payment - Seacoast Repertory Theatre
Little Red Spying Hood is a PAPA Youth Workshop Production and is an audition-based program. There is a production fee of $95 per student to participate in the production. Students rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6pm and some Saturdays from 10:30am-12:30pm. Locations of rehearsals are usually at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre, but some will take place at RepNorth. The dates of the show are: February 6, 7, 13, 14 at 11am 603-433-4793 x115

MUNCHKIN TENNIS CAMP - Adams Park
Munchkin Tennis Camp is designed to introduce campers to the game of tennis. Well focus on basic strokes, developing hand-eye coordination and having fun. Supplies: Campers will need to bring a tennis racket and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed.
