Subpar camp
Would be an ok camp if you want your child hiking trails covered in trash & broken bottles. From one year to the next, the Y staff does nothing to clean up trash, fallen trees, glass. Last year a horse died on camp property. For what you pay to send your child to Camp Wijiwagan, I say just take them to the dump for a hike.... Read More...

Missouri River Float Trip - Sr. Teen Camp - Lewistown, MT
Float amidst God’s beautiful creation for 4 days and 3 nights along the Missouri River. Sr. Teen Camp August 1-6 Missouri River Float Trip Boys & Girls entering grade 10 and up to age 19 Cost: $170 Register by July 25 This is a pre-register camp with limited space. Check-in time: 10am-12pm, Monday, August 1 Registrations available at www.lewtana.com Plenty of canoeing, swimming, Bible classes and day hikes along the river are on the schedule. Additional items to bring: a life jacket, a set of warm clothes, good hiking shoes, a flashlight, a modest one-piece swimsuit, a small backpack. Insect repellant and sunscreen are provided. If you have a canoe or extra lifejackets we could borrow please contact us. Camp ends with a program on Saturday at 1:30. Parents are encouraged to attend the program, as there are awards given out and a slide show of pictures from the week. This is a pre-register camp with limited space. The SAT Prep Class at Loyola Blakefield is an intensive four-evening class that covers the Math, English, and Writing sections of the SAT. The class runs the Monday though Thursday before each SAT test and covers two days of math and two days of English/Writing. Topics include coverage of basic SAT curriculum, test taking strategies, and the completion of SAT test questions. The class runs evenings from 7 – 9:30 pm. Cost is $175. Class size is limited to twenty- five students per session. The math portion of the SAT Prep Class is taught by Mr. Jose Albornoz. Mr. Albornoz has been a mathematics teacher at Loyola Blakefield for the past thirty years. He has taught all levels of mathematics from 7th grade pre-algebra through Advanced Placement Calculus. 2015 -2016 will be his 31st year at Blakefield and his 7th teaching the SAT Prep Class. The English portion of the SAT Prep Class is taught by Ms. Kelly Christ. With a BS in English and Secondary Education from Towson University and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College, Ms. Christ is entering her 16th year of teaching. This camp has it all-swimming, diving, trampoline, soccer, kickball, crafts and games! Campers should be able to swim 25 yards and must be comfortable in the water that exceeds their height. Campers must come equipped with shorts, T-shirt and tennis shoes or athletic-type shoes. Campers should bring a non-perishable lunch, extra pair of athletic socks, swim suit, towel, cap, goggles and sunscreen. A $15 material fee is due at the beginning of each session, payable to Tober Aqua Sports, Inc. Extended Care is provided by the camp for morning and/or afternoon for participants only.
