Summer Recreation Camp - (Week 1) Week 1: Aloha Summer Welcome summer with some island fun! A fun filled week including activities such as limbo, sand art, tie-dye and more. THIS CAMP IS ONLY 4 DAYS (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday) It does NOT include the Thursday trip to a New Ham pshire State Park Each day is designed a little different to offer campers with daily choices, physical exercise, and craft activities to ignite creativity, social and group development, nature and each week includes three special activities/events. Friday has its own theme and is definitely going to be a day campers do not want to miss! Please have your child bring sunscreen, water bottles (at least 32 ozs.), 2 snacks and a lunch. Camp Information * Camp hours are from 8:30am to 3pm. Stratham Parks and Recreation will NOT be offering before/after camp care. * Stratham Recreation Day Camp is open to students that have completed Kindergarten through those entering the 6th grade. * Registration is open to Stratham residence ONLY * A $25 administrative fee will...

Middle School White Water Rafting: U.S. National Whitewater Center, Charlotte - Mount Shepherd Retreat Center
Adventure Rafting is designed for those wishing to experience the excitement of world-class whitewater. Rafters will take on Class II, III and IV rapids. Participants should be comfortable with getting wet with the potential of coming out of their boat. This is a one day trip to the U.S. Whitewater Center, Charlotte, NC. Included are high ropes courses and zip lines. At Mount Shepherd there will be additional aquatic activities, camping out, daily devotions and more! 336-629-4085

Volleyball is the ultimate team sport. It is exciting, action packed and one of the fastest growing sports in the Tidewater area. The game requires outstanding hand-eye coordination, skill mastery, quickness, anticipation, teamwork and the motivation to "lay it all on the line." Now is a great time for your child to get started or further develop their game at the NCS volleyball camp. Campers will receive instruction in the six skills of volleyball: serving, passing, digging, setting, attacking and blocking. Campers will learn rotational and perimeter defenses and how and when to use them. Though instruction will be thorough, the atmosphere will be positive and enjoyable for all the campers.
