LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Golf Lessons for Grades 3-5 only - Bolles Ponte Vedra Beach Campus
The Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Junior philosophy defines a Long Term Athletic Development Approach. This development is laid out within our Junior camp offering focus on three areas: Fundamentals, Learn & Train to Play and Learn & Train to Compete. Within the Level 1 curriculum, students will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game and swing, short game analysis, life values and how they relate golf and entry level contests. **This class will be longer due to travel time for the bus. Students will leave here at 3:20pm, Class is from 3:45-4:45, the students will return to campus around 5:00pm. Coach Stone will accompany the students on the bus to and from their Golf Lesson** Transportation will be provided by The Bolles School to and from the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Clubhouse. Can We Interview the Staff?
Many summer camp staff are seasonal. However, there are usually a number of year-round staff who can answer parents’ questions. This is a chance to talk about how homesickness will be handled, emergency procedures, the daily schedule, dietary restrictions, and more. Interviews can happen via phone, email, or even Skype. Patience is important. Staff members’ time is usually limited during the winter and spring season.
Before going into this conversation, parents should make a list of questions. This ensures all necessary information about safety, program, and cost are touched upon. Camp staff should be able to explain how registration works...

Southwest Basketball - Southwest Basketball
Southwest Basketball, conduct basketall camps, leagues, tournaments and basketball personl training for childern ages 6 to 18 male and female. Our camps normally last a week,(Monday through Friday). A day at the camp usually last for 3 hours. We teach all the basic fundamentals of basketball. The last hour of the camp is reserved for games and general fitiness. YOUTH LEAGUES The players get 10 games. There is a tournament at the end of the season. The players practice once a week and play once a week, an hour for practice and the games usually last about an hour. Students will have an amazing week learning, creating, and consuming! During the week long experience, campers will not only make something edible everyday - breads, pretzels, cookies - they learn how people around the world meet their nutritional needs, and how food is produced from farm to table, and look at the history of breads. Campers will come home with a book of nutritious recipes and an increased interest in the kitchen! Campers will rehearse scenes and songs from Sound of Music for an end-of-the-week performance for family and friends. Drama games with friends, singing and dancing, acting out characters...these are a few of our favorite things! You wont want to say "So Long, Farewell" after this week! Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Reporting Live from Andersonville! In this camp, students will explore the concepts of creating their own news show. From interview skills, anchoring and broadcasting, choosing news topics that interest the campers, and even camera skills, campers will get the entire experience of building a news show. They will work together as an ensemble to build their broadcast while interviewing Andersonville merchants and customers of local businesses to get more of the story! 773-944-9146
