This camp, guided by the Montessori method, offers a mix of quiet play, story time, and outdoor activities that follow the rhythm of the child and the particular group. Activities may include play with clay, puzzles, and Legos; trips to the school library; nature walks; and harvesting snacks from the school garden. Children can nap if they need to. Stamford Lacrosse Camp Week 2 & PM All Sports Camp - Westhill High School
For Boys ages 6-12 years old. Players of all abilities are welcome to join us for a fun instructional camp of lax drills, skill competitions, contests and games! Players will be divided up into two main groups by age and will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game. Players will be coached by former high school coaches, college and high school players and each group in the camp will be supervised by an adult coach. Players must bring their own equipment. Full equipment required: helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, mouth guard and a stick. Bring a peanut free snack and refillable water bottle. Wrestling (Mondays Only) - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Beginners and experienced wrestlers alike will be challenged at this camp. This technique camp will provide instruction on stance, level changing, circling, shooting and sprawling. High school students attending the camp will work on leg riding offense and defense, throws and throw defense, rolls, advance shot defense, scoring from an offensive position, and mental toughness. This camp will run Mondays only. Please note our new cancellation policy. A 50% fee of the cost of the camp shall be applied to an individual who cancels.
