Summer Camp Music Festival - Minnesota Members - Chillicothe, IL
The first Summer Camp Music Festival was held in 2001 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL. About 1,000 attended the festival that year, and enjoyed over 20 bands on 2 stages over the course of 2 days. Since then, Summer Camp Music Festival has grown to more than 15,000 attendees, hosting more than 100 bands on 7 stages over 3 days. And while our numbers have grown, Summer Camp still maintains the same energy and family feel we had when we started over a decade ago. As one fan put it, “Coming to Summer Camp is like coming home.” You’ll run into old friends, meet a ton of great new ones, and have the time of your life. Almost tripling the population of Chillicothe for the weekend, Summer Camp creates a city within a city, and greatly impacts the local business economy. Artists that have performed at the Summer Camp Music Festival in past years include: moe., Umphrey’s McGee, The Flaming Lips, Willie Nelson, Bassnectar, Widespread Panic, Les Claypool, Keller Williams, Pretty Lights, Skrillex, The Roots, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Medeski Martin & Wood, and many, many more.

Our instructor will start off with 25 minutes in our spin room, where we turn the lights down and the music up. After a short break, we you’ll rotate through challenges in our bootcamp room that will have you working up a sweat. This class is designed to be challenging and fun. Learn how to be a rockstar! Are you a guitarist, bass player, keyboardist, or singer with a year or more of experience? Then this is the camp for you! Gary Backstrom, lead guitarist for Jiggle the Handle and currently touring with the Gary Backstrom Band, will be supplying the beats of classic rock and R&B. High School All Position Skills Football Camp - Sacred Heart Schools
Championship football is built on FUNdamentals. This non-contact full day camp will offer a practice atmosphere while focusing on fundamentals and overall football safety for athletes preparing to play either flag or contact football. In addition to a team practice setting, daily individual teaching is provided for athletes to focus on their positions of choice. Afternoons will be filled with competitive Flag Football games and other fun team building activities. The camp is under the direction of Mark Modeste - Assistant Head Coach at Sacred Heart Prep. Put me in coach...Im ready to play! This camp will focus on baseball fundamentals and techniques from hitting, fielding and throwing to pitching, base running and more. Campers will participate in daily drills, scrimmages, stations and contests to develop big league skills. Camp will be conducted rain or shine. Parents will be provided with information on how to handle rain days on the first day of camp. Supplies: Campers should bring their own bat and glove, and a packed lunch with a beverage and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend campers use sunscreen with a SPF of at least 30.
