Football - Seattle Preparatory School
The Seattle Prep Varsity football coaches will be hosting a youth football camp for rising 5th-8th grade students, July 5th-8th, 1-4pm daily. The camp will feature drill and technique work designed specifically for the young athlete to build a foundation that will lead to years of success on the gridiron. The camp will feature varsity coaches and players in a fast-paced, fun, and competitive structure that is tailored to any skill level. We will focus on the fundamental skills of stance, footwork, hand placement, shed, safety, and angles for all defensive positions. Offensively, we will cover stance, footwork, hand and head placement, blocking techniques, ball security, throwing, receiving, and explosive running back techniques. Our staffs goal is to provide each camper with a fun and exciting week of football. Most importantly, we will teach a winning attitude that will enable each camper to become the best individual and team-player they can be. Minecraft is a block-building sandbox game with no set rules, where you can build anything you can possible imagine. Lets pretend youre alone in a mysterious new world, full of hidden dangers. You have only minutes to find food and shelter before darkness falls and the monsters come looking for you. What do you do? What we teach you might just save your life! Learn how to find resources; make a shelter; craft tools, armor, and weapons, and protect yourself from monsters. Campers also create their own adventure map as design, production, and test playing guide them. Campers learn how to work as a team as they take on the real-world jobs of programmer, game designer, artist, and architect. There are two modes of the game.
