Animal Adventures - July 10 - Keyauwee Program Center
Take time out from boating and doing arts and crafts to play with a host of animals. In this session, you will swim, go geocaching and cook out over a campfire. Also play with baby goats, take part in a dog wash and an animal scavenger hunt around camp. 336-274-8491

Classroom: D-8 Instructor: Active Reading Center () This reading class is designed for first and second grade students who have difficulty learning to read in traditional environments. We utilize play activities that help emerging readers learn letter sounds, and blend those sounds into words. All teaching is done by trained teachers from the Active Reading Center. A brief evaluation of each students abilities will be provided at the end of the session. Students may be recommended for work with a reading teacher on a one-on-one basis. SC2016: Jiggly Wiggly Comb Jelly Week - Sanibel Flagship Campus
We always get asked if small clear comb jellies sting. The answer is no - instead of using stinging cells they use sticky cells and you cant get stuck unless you are a tiny planktonic animal. Lets explore these super-cool, glow in the dark, barely there jellies of the ocean. Lets have a floating race using only our fingers fluttering like cilia. Lets get sticky and capture our own food. Lets collect plankton (the comb jellys favorite food) with a plankton tow and look at it under a microscope. Lets go on a night beach walk and look for bioluminescence. (239) 472-8585
