LATEST CAMPS NEWS: 2016 NOVA Fishing Camp - Gunston Community Center
This week with Virginia Fishing Adventures offers campers the opportunity to learn beginner and intermediate tactics for freshwater fishing in nearby private ponds and rivers. We have access to some excellent private waters where campers are assured success. Our counselor-to-camper ratio is 1-to-5 to allow for one-on-one instructional time each day. Campers may also earn their fishing merit badge through this program. Safety is our number one priority, so campers will wear life jackets when in the water or on a boat. Virginia Fishing Adventures provides all bait and tackle, rods and reels, life jackets, and good times. Open to boys and girls ages 8-14. No experience necessary. 804-272-6362

2016 Duluth FCA Youth Sports Camp - Duluth, MN
The Duluth Youth Sports Camp is a day camp for young athletes entering grades 2-7 (Fall 2016) who want to develop their skills in several sports and build their personal character. Campers will choose two sports to train in for the duration of camp and will be divided into groups for age appropriate training. Individual Week / Add on Registration Here (2016 AKA SOP SCHEDULE BELOW) AKASPORTs Speed of Play: Leadership through Fitness Program, is led by AKA Director, Chris Schulz and the AKA professional training Staff. Participants enrolled in the AKA Speed of Play (SOP program), in partnership with the AKA All Sports Camp (ages 6-12), will offer adolescents an opportunity to be active, train and play in an All Sports setting geared to teach them leadership qualities with personal mentorship opportunities. The base of the Speed of Play program is from 9:00am-4:00pm and the doors are open for all Speed of Play participants from 7:00am-6:00pm, the same hours of the AKA All Sports Camp so you can take advantage of supervised activity time the entire day. Acorn (Pre-school: Ages 3 - 5) - Mount Shepherd Retreat Center
Acorns will spend the week creating nature-inspired crafts, taking a wagon ride, cooling off with water play, hiking Little Mountain, playing, exploring and having an all-round great time. Acorns will enjoy a separate worship service with age appropriate songs and lessons. Acorns are led by trained staff at a ratio of 1:6. Acorn camp is for children who have not yet attended Kindergarten and are potty trained. Acorns go home before lunch but will be provided a nutritious morning snack.
