What is the best way to cool off in the hot summer heat? WATER and we are going to have a lot of it! Children will get wet every day. Griffins will dive into the pool twice a week, splash at waterparks and soak a friend with balloons, super soakers and more! Camp Yolo - Adult Summer Camp Sept - Long Weekend - San Francisco, CA
Hey Friends all work and these Adult camps posts has me wanting to go to camp. PROBLEM: No adult camp in SF area (aside from a digital detox hippy thing) SOLUTION: Organize One. If we get enough interest will make it happen, will decide in 1 week. Need like 200+ Yes's and I will get the wheels in motion. CONCEPT: Adult Summer Camp All the fun + the booze Think meeting new people, activities like swimming,canoeing, rock wall, sports, slip n slide flip cup, arts crafts, cooking class, and etc. Broken into teams, olympics style, dancing under stars all night, talent show, etc. Was inspired by Camp No Counselors check it out to get an idea - https://vimeo.com/99644036 It'd be $299 - 349 estimated PP for transport, accommodation, catered food, activities + TShirt ;) + OPEN BAR all 3 Days. Come "prepared" ladies for an awesome move of God! I cannot wait to fellowship with you all again this year! Friday night after service we will be having dinner and a bonfire. Saturday after service if there are any women interested we will be going to the Amish country �Friday night please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Youth Curator Camp Virginia Museum of Natural History Saturday, December 19 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Youth Curator Camp is an opportunity for children ages 6 to 12 to learn about the museum while participating in fun, hands-on activities and programs. Parents and guardians – this is a great opportunity for your children to experience a day of scientific adventure and discovery while you finish up any last-minute holiday shopping! Campers will meet the museum’s scientists and learn about real museum collections. There will be demonstrations of the casting and molding program, with children having the opportunity to create, paint and take home their very own fossil cast! In addition to these unique activities, campers will enjoy pizza and a movie in the museum’s Education Center. Price: $30 per camper (VMNH Members receive a 10% discount) To register, please call 276-634-4185 or email [email protected]. Registration deadline: Friday, December 4 Space is limited, so register today! Illage Summer Camp Karaoke Fundraiser Kickoff Party! - Portland, OR
It happened so fast! Only two months till Illage Summer Camp Year SIX! Can't believe it! We have so much magic in store for you this year at Camp! SO MUCH!! And on June 30th you have a chance to help us make that magic happen! We will be hosting a Karaoke Raffle Fundraiser Kickoff Party for Camp at everyones favorite karaoke dive bar, Chopsticks 3!! This is our chance to reunite, generate momentum, raise funds, and sing duets about it. There will be a Raffle with heaps of incredibly thoughtful and inspired Gift Certificates and Prizes for the winning! Donations gladly accepted as well! All proceeds go to the Illage Summer Camp fund and are given directly back to you in the form of temp tatts, first aid supplies, printed camp schedules, fireworks, snacks, sunscreen, floating fun islands, bedazzled trophies, friendship bracelets, s'mores and all kinds of camp-related perks. Session 3 - Team Camp - Florida Southern College
The goal of this camp is to spend 4 days having a blast playing the game of volleyball, learning new techniques, developing team chemistry and exposing teams to new concepts and strategies. The coaches will cover individual skills (passing, setting, attacking, blocking, serving) as well as team concepts (offensive systems, defensive patterns, serve receive patterns, transition). There will be a day and a half of training followed by two days of competition. Individuals may also attend. They will be skill tested and put on teams. The emphasis for this camp is on building team concepts within each group of players. (Ages 11-18) Check in will be Sunday at 4:00 pm and Check out will be Wednesday at 11:00 am 863-680-4474

Plankton Pioneers enjoy being introduced to marine science through hands on activities, interactions with live animals, plus themed crafts, games and songs. A highlight of this camp is a day aboard our ship spent fishing, exploring mud, and viewing plankton through a microscope. Snack provided, please pack a lunch. Extended care available until 5:30 pm. Materials engineering investigates the structure, properties and manufacture of materials. Everyone loves cartoons! Learn the basics of cartooning focusing on the action line, gesture, expression, features, colors, textures, and values. Kids will review lots of popular cartoon works from Disney to Dreamworks. We will assign traits for the cartoon character, and then design original cartoons with those traits. Included in this workshop will be 2 days on caricature exaggeration practice. Kids will tap into their imaginations by coming up with names and titles for their own comic masterpieces.
