If your child is staying for the full day, please pack a lunch and drink for them. Art instruction begins at the designated start time. Stanford Womens Gymnastics - Stanford Womens Gymnastics
Our Camp program is extremely comprehensive covering: compulsory and optional skills, basics, dance, strength, and flexibility. Our camps are designed for all gymnasts, from beginner to elite. Our day camp can accommodate all gymnasts over the age of 6. Our student to coach ratio of 8 to 1, ensures that your child will have a great experience with some of the best club and collegiate coaches from around the country. Campers train in the renovated Ford Center Gym. We have added a 50ft Tumble Track, in ground tramp and a new loose foam bar pit. LEGO Mindstorm Robotics Camp - Sport Center
This hands-on camp reveals the rewards and excitement of LEGO robotics. Working with a partner, your child will learn about mechanical design, gear ratios and computer programming using the LEGO Mindstorms robotics system. Campers will also be creating their own video game. Participants will create background settings, characters, animated movements and sound effects. Participants will be introduced to computer programming using easy to learn tools and increase their knowledge of robotics technology while enjoying time with their peers. The Setter/Hitter Camp is for athletes entering grades 6-12. This camp is ideal for athletes who have established themselves as a setter or hitter and want to improve on one of these skills. The sessions focus specifically on improving advanced hitting or setting techniques for improved execution during game situations through excellent, intensive training. Players enrolling in these camps should be ready for intermediate and advanced skills training. Campers must specify whether they are a setter, outside hitter, or middle blocker. Community Boating Center of New Bedfords mission is to "Teach positive life values to youth through boating." This summer we are working even more in incorporate US Sailings REACH program into our summer programs. The REACH program works to teach children science, technology, engineering and math in fun and innovative ways. It helps kids learn STEM subjects while engaging in fun land and water based activities. Our programs also follow the philosophy of safety, fun and learning in that order. This summer Community Boating has Chosen to assign students to their classes.
