This camp offers a first look at lacrosse for players who want to learn more or who have only basic knowledge of the sport. If focuses on basic skills like scooping, cradling, catching, throwing and shooting. Since there will be limited player-to-player contact, full gear is recommended but not required. This class begins with essential lessons for to empower new knitters. Lessons will include choosing supplies, reading instructions, casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and binding off. Using these basic techniques, participants will learn how to create different knitting patterns using the knit and purl techniques, including seed stitch, ribbing, stockinette, and garter.
