Please consider donating items, we all have that pile of stuff that we are ready to donate after our spring cleaning and then let's go SHOPPING at this important event for our youth! Please share with your friends, who doesn't like to garage sale?!?! If you need your donation items picked up please contact our Youth Minister, Ben Miller, for those details. Items can be brought to the gym as early as January 23rd.
Youth Camp Easter Breakfast Fundraiser - Bel Air, MD
Remix Youth would like to invite you, your family, and your friends Easter morning to our Youth Camp Breakfast Fundraiser! Our menu includes: pancakes, sausage gravy, biscuits, fruit, donuts, muffins, coffee, and juice. Youth Camp can be a life changing week for our teenagers! However, it can be a financial burden for some. The cost for camp this year is $275 per student. The cost includes travel, housing, meals, and secondary health insurance. We want to remove as many obstacles as possible that would prevent a student from attending camp. All donations received at our Easter breakfast will go toward students in need of financial assistance. Thank you for your investment into the lives of our Remix teens! And we promise you will leave full and happy. :)

Field Hockey - Wellington Gym
Welcome to Portledges first field hockey camp! The program will be run by two of the Locust Valley field hockey coaches, Karissa McGrory and Tammy Caramico. Your athlete will need a field hockey stick, mouthguard, shinguards, cleats, and goalie equipment (if you are a goalie!). Session 1 is for any girl looking to love the sport of field hockey. The session will focus on beginner skills such as stick work, shooting, positions, and offense vs. defense. Girls will learn the proper stick skills learned to become a future field hockey star. In addition to learning the proper sportsmanship skills needed to become a well rounded athlete. We recommend athletes joining us for the first session are new players ranging from grades 3-9. Session 2 is for any advanced athlete looking to get ready for preseason and the fall school season. It is recommended that girls are interested in playing on the JV and Varsity level. Athletes during this session will work on expanding their knowledge of the sport, increasing stick skills, and working on specific offense and defensive skills to push athletes to the next level! Held on Lake Quinsigamond, this program offers instruction for high school athletes of all levels—from advanced skill development targeted toward competitive rowing to introduction of the basics. Whether you are already a competitive rower or a novice hoping to take your first strokes, you will receive first-class instruction appropriate to your individual development within a positive and enjoyable environment. Over this 8 week session, girls will combine multiple skills, tools, scales, and media to complete 4 small design/build projects. We will cut wood, pick locks, fuse metal or etch with lasers, and more. For girls who are new to building or advanced girls with experience in our shop, these projects will encourage creativity and craft. 510-206-2396

Whether your child is a real ham or standup comedian, they will love this class. Improvisation games, made up characters, silly settings, and ridiculous problems to solve, they will use it all to make the audience crack up! This class is perfect for the shy student who needs to be comfortable in front of the class or the class clown who has some wacky characters up their sleeves. Students will participate in ensemble building, improvisation games, and exercises to stretch their imagination as they develop skills to think on their feet.
