GRAND SLAM TENNIS CAMP - Adams Park
Receive professional tennis instruction in a fun group environment. Well cover the basics from proper footwork and grips to stroke production and movement. Basic skills including volley, forehand, backhand and serving will be taught through games and drills. For beginner through intermediate players. Supplies: Campers should bring their own tennis racket and water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. This course will focus on learning the basics of the woodwind, brass or percussion instrument of each students choice. Learning activities will center around small group instruction with like instruments, music theory and games, and a group rehearsal with all instruments combined. The week will conclude with a short informance by all band members. Open to students entering 5th grade who have no previous experience on a band instrument. Thats right – you read correctly. This week is all about games and having FUN on the water. Kayak your way through the harbor and play games like capture the flag, sponge tag, kayak soccer, knockout, and create your own scavenger hunt.
