In this 9 week course, Create your own story through the BEAM Experience! Using the process of creative problem solving, each week campers will learn to brainstorm ideas, outline, build, animate, and publish their own distinctive stop motion movie. Working in teams of 2-3, students will create a story based on ideas from their own imaginations and bring them to life one frame at a time. Adding your own unique cinematic score and dialogue truly brings the movie to life! Building and set materials include LEGO® bricks, recycled materials, cardboard, straws and architecture materials to fuel their imagination. Grades 3-6 (Day Camp) Check-in will be Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center (it will not begin before 8:00 AM). Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. Each day we will have fundamental and team practice in the morning. League play will begin at approximately 2:00PM and generally will end around 3:30PM at which time you may leave for home. (*Note: These times may change depending on the number of campers in attendance). More information about game times will be posted in the arena on the first day of camp after the teams have been selected.
