We will split the campers into "tribes" similar to the popular TV reality series. Survivor campers will get the chance to compete in "survival games" and enjoy the outdoors in this fun-filled camp! Be sure to wear clothes you can get dirty. Football Camp 6th - 8th - SCDS
The goal of the Hornet Football Camp is to give campers the finest football instruction and a stepping stone to becoming a confident football player, while having a week of fun! This is notaconditioning or recreational camp. This camp is designed to teach the football techniques used at the high school level and to help prepare the players for their upcoming SPAL season. The Savannah Country Day high school football coaches will be the camp instructors along with former Hornet players and some current college football players. Campers will be taught the fundamental skills for their specific position on both sides of the ball as well as compete in group drills to help prepare them for another championship season of SPAL football. Max Lax is a co-educational sports camp that focuses on introducing children to the sport of lacrosse as well as other cooperative games. Your child will learn the basic skills of lacrosse and participate in different games, which will help with the development of those skills while also having fun. At camp your child will also play different team building and cooperative games such as capture the flag, water balloon team tag, lacrosse baseball, dodge ball and European handball. The campers will also have the opportunity to cool off from the summer sun on the camp favorite: Max Lax Mega Slip n Slide.
