Ready for a new challenge? Advance your throwing skills and create bigger and better pots on the pottery wheel. Learn in a small group environment where you will receive individual instructor attention and have access to your own pottery wheel throughout the week. Improve on the details of handles, feet, rims and design elements and explore different ways to glaze your pots before they are fired in the kiln. Campers will take home finished work at the end of the week. Prior knowledge of the basics of centering, pulling up, and forming pots on the wheel is required. 919-677-7839

Masjid al-Noor Youth Camp is an exciting opportunity to spend time building brotherhood/sisterhood while enjoying recreational activities, and spending time with Shaykh Noman Hussain. The camp will be open for youth between the ages of 12-18. If there are any children that would like to attend under the age of 12, they will be allowed attendance ONLY IF A PARENT/GUARDIAN attends as their chaperone. Brothers and sisters will be in separate accommodations in the same campsite under the supervision of adult male and female camp counselors. DATES: Monday, August 22, 2016 to Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Dutch 4 vs 4 offers talented players the opportunity for an international soccer experience with the guide of Dutch professionals. The focus is on identifying talented soccer players and guiding them with guaranteed top-level training in a professional learning environment. Participants will show their skills in a 4v4 formation. Games will be organized in a tournament setting. Selected players will be invited to attend a special one week training program in the Netherlands, with the possibility to be identified for a development training program. The ORANGE BALL allows young players to play on a 60 court with the same rules as those used on a regulation court. Playing the real game will promote the development of fundamentals required in game situations. For 7+ year olds that have gained skills from RED BALL play. The ratio of length to width is basically the same as a full sized court is to an adult. As the court and equipment dimensions are scaled down, young players are able to develop an all-court game style... ORANGE BALL tennis uses low-compression balls that facilitate this tactical development. The balls are easier to control and dont bounce as lively as a YELLOW BALL. On these courts players use 23-25 inch rackets (depending on player size) which gives better racquet and ball control. The modified equipment also assists with development of good mechanics. ORANGE BALL instruction is a series of game based drills, to develop players globally with a strong emphasis on fundamentals.
