All Sports Quest - Carolina Day School
Basketball, Soccer, baseball, football, frisbee and more! In this camp we will be learning and playing a wide variety of sports. Come join us as we learn about some of the lesser known international sports, and have fun with your friends as we compete and play in a fun and safe environment. Please bring a water bottle and tennis shoes and be ready for a great week of fun games and activities. Leader: Jake Southern 828-274-0757
Boys Basketball - Sanford Day Camp
Stan Waterman will be the head coach for our Basketball program. Stan is the head basketball coach at Sanford since 1991. Under Stans direction, Sanford won multiple State Championships. Stan played point guard at the University of Delaware and is the Dean of Students at Sanford. He is considered to be an outstanding teacher of youth. Stan utilizes both courts of the Sports Center to set up stations for dribbling, passing, jump shooting and foul shooting. The afternoons are used for small team play. 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, etc. By the end of the week, all players are participating in full team scrimmages. Players can expect a good workout every day. -------------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. --------------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp.
