Located in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia, Camp Horseshoe is an ACA accredited residential camp. Campers are supervised at all times by trained staff. The 6 day camp provides many opportunities for your child. Living in cabins as a family unit, some of the activities available are: fishing, arts & crafts, library time, fossil hunting, creek adventure, sports, dance, games, singing, and swimming. This camp is recommended for girls ages 8 through 16 years of age. My 13 year old daughter attended Mountain Top Summer Dance Camp. What she liked about it surprised me. She really enjoyed the camaraderie of other girls who shared her passion for dance. At the end of the camp, the girls all held a talent show, and they performed for the parents. Summer 5 Days of Knight Camp for Kids - Battle of Agincourt - Portland
Kids day camp for the week of Aug 22nd through Aug. 26th Ages 7 through 12 - or first grade and up. Camp runs Monday through Thursday- 9:30am to 3:30pm Children should pack a lunch or bring money to buy food at the Subway in our parking lot. Before and after care are available for an additional fee - see below. Camp must be pre-registered. There are no refunds however arrangements can be made to transfer registration to a different child. Our program is focused on teaching historical arts connected to the martial culture of Europe in the time of the crusades and beyond to the 16th century. We teach history and real world skills related to the time and culture of Knighthood. This this course we will focus on the Battle of Agincourt.... a decisive time in history. The invasion took a muster of troops... a ship voyage... and then an overland campaign. This past year saw the Anniversary celebration of the Battle at European battle sites and museums. In addition... Learn the skills of Sword and Shield from documented historical texts Learn about European History and culture Play Medieval games Learn about heraldry and make your own shield with your own coat of arms Learn metalworking skills...

Election Day Kid's Camp is availiable between 7-7pm while school's are closed. Price is $35 for the day (7-5pm) Additional $5 for aftercare (5-7pm) Additional $5 if we provide pizza and gatorade.
Kid's Summer Yoga Camp - Canby, OR
Balance and Harmony is happy to announce our first summer yoga camp for children ages 3-5. This camp will introduce your child to basic yoga poses and breathing exercises through story, songs and games. Each class will also include a creative activity that reinforces our yoga practice. Children will bring a packed snack and we will enjoy time outside at Wait Park. Taught by Sherry Wolfson. Sherry holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a 200 hour Yoga Teaching Certificate. She began teaching preschool and special education over 30 years ago and has taught yoga to preschoolers at Childswork Learning Center in Portalnd for the past 3 years. Classes will be held for 5 weeks (July 1st - 29th) on Wednesdays from 1:00-4:00. Fee-$150 for all 5 days. Hotspot Dance Studio offers a yearly Summer Camp that will make sure your son or daughter not only has a safe place to enjoy their summer vacation and be part of activies, but also a place where they will be learning new skills related to performance arts. Hotspot Summer Camp Program will begin Monday June 14th and end August 5th of 2016. Hotspot takes campers to two field trips a week as well as bringing in teachers of all dance styles to do activities! Dancers have the option of doing an end of Summer dance showcase when camp ends. Many children never have the opportunity to experience the magic of camp and it is our goal to ensure that every child has this opportunity. Camp helps kids to do better in school, lessening the detrimental effects of summer learning loss and builds invaluable self-confidence.
