Wondering what fun things there are for your young children to do this summer? Come explore first hand several Summer Camp programs offered for preschool and elementary-aged kids by local businesses in the Grapevine, Colleyville, and Southlake areas. From cooking class to sports and art to education, plan an awesome summer your kids won't forget! Hosted by the GCS Mom's League, a non-profit organization aiming to support moms and their families through friendship, resources, and service. The event is free and open to all families in the community. Guests to GCS Mom's League, please RSVP here. Members can RSVP through our GCSML MeetUp site. Children are welcome to accompany thier parent to the event. As normal with GCSML General Meetings, childcare is available but only offered to members.

June 15-19, 9:00am-4:00pm, $200/kiddo Hosted by Missoula Fencing Association and Moksha Studio. For kids ages 7-10 years old who wanna be a Pirate AND join the Circus. Monday - Friday 9am-12:30pm: PIRATE (hosted by Missoula Fencing Association) Monday - Friday 12:30pm- 4:00pm: CIRCUS (hosted by Moksha Aerial Studio) PIRATE: Come express your inner pirate! We get our youngest fencers started learning fencing basics with lots of fun and games in this week long camp. Time will also be spent in activities that increase fitness, coordination and strategy development. All protective equipment is provided and we finish out the week with some stage combat. CIRCUS: Kids will have a blast learning skills. The Baltimore Dance Crews Project is excited to launch Spring Forward - a campaign to support BDCP youth. Our goal is to raise $20,000 between March 18th and May 14th for BDCP programs. LEGO Mindstorm Robotics Camp - Sport Center
This hands-on camp reveals the rewards and excitement of LEGO robotics. Working with a partner, your child will learn about mechanical design, gear ratios and computer programming using the LEGO Mindstorms robotics system. Campers will also be creating their own video game. Participants will create background settings, characters, animated movements and sound effects. Participants will be introduced to computer programming using easy to learn tools and increase their knowledge of robotics technology while enjoying time with their peers. Students will explore the wild, and not so wild life around them. As they do so, they will create exciting animal-inspired pieces from a variety of media. The two-week camp concludes with ?An Evening of Entertainment" featuring a performance put on by the campers. Participants will learn about the many components of theater production, from costumes and makeup to set design and blocking. This camp meets at the Hickory Lodge, 1115 W. Guided by our American Red Cross Certified Staff, this summer promises to be one adventure after the other.
