Explore the Civil War with author, historian and former Gettysburg National Park Ranger, Jeff Evans. Throughout the course of the week we will experience Civil War drill, clothing, equipment and even food. Campers receive their own Civil War enlistment and discharge papers and even muster for pay. The Battles of Antietam and Gettysburg will be used to examine the world of Civil War battle. The role of local units will be closely examined. This girls-only camp is a favorite camp for my 12 year old daughter. There are a variety of day and week long camps offered; each according to a girl’s age. Girls have lots of choices with this camp. Chicago Youth Centers’ Camp Rosenthal is excited to announce its first annual Women's Wellness Retreat April 29th - May 1st 2016. As 21st century women we are constantly juggling the responsibilities of family, work and school. We all deserve some time out for ourselves. Why not take some time to re-connect with yourself and enjoy the fellowship of womanhood at our beautiful camp in Southwestern Michigan. Our women’s only weekend retreat will give you an opportunity to relax in a beautiful and inviting environment, reconnect with your inner self through art, meditation and reflection and allow plenty of time to appreciate sisterhood and enjoy pampering yourself. SPARK - Mini Einsteins 2nd Session - Episcopal Day School
ideaventions® Mini Einsteins (Ages 3-6) Its never too early to start learning about science. Mini Einsteins® is a creative introduction to STEM that takes preschoolers through a variety of STEM activities aimed at learning beginning concepts of science, technology and engineering, with a tie in to literature and math. Children become immersed in the topics as they are exposed to the vocabulary, lab equipment, scientific process and engineering design cycle in a fun and engaging environment. In this 8-week exploration (#2), we will investigate Ink, jump into Jets, cook up some Kitchen chemistry, look into Light, manipulate Motion, need our Noses, observe Oxygen, and play around with Pressure. Music & Drama Camp - Camp Moses Merrill
Music and Drama Camp is packed full of all the regular camp stuff, but we throw in some music, acting and performing. Campers are given the opportunity to use their God given talents, learn to perform in front of a live audience, and have A LOT of fun along the way. Special Features: Specific goalie instruction, individual position work, emphasis on shooting and team tactics as well as everyone will participate in the camp tournament. Check In & Pick Up Information Check In - Resident & Day Campers: Check in will be between 4:00 - 4:30 pm on the first day at the dorms. A long water session will be this evening. Pick Up - Resident & Day Campers: Camp concludes at 11:45 AM on the final day of camp at the Avery Aquatic Center.
