This week is open to experienced kayakers and anglers who are ready to take their skills to the next level! Some of last years catches included porgies, snapper blues, pilot fish, trigger fish and even a remora! You never know exactly what will happen in this exciting class where we get to explore more closely some of the best inshore fishing spots. We will be teaching the basics of fishing from a kayak, tying knots, baiting hooks, cleaning gear, and practicing fishing safety. We practice catch and release only. Students should bring their own fishing rods and tackle ready for use. Some NESS rods are available and bait will be provided, please call to inquire. Includes: fishing & kayaking 860-535-9362

Jewelry Making for the Kidn me - Barn Art Classroom
The Kidn Me camps are designed for children from age 5 -18 and a parent or caregiver. This class will cover the basics of simple bead stringing. You will learn to make earrings using wire head pins, beads and pre-made earring hooks. You will design a simple bracelet and learn to finish it with crimp beads and a clasp. Simple necklace styles will be presented and you will design and finish one with your choice of clasp! Imagine the possibilities this week when we work with nothing but cardboard. What happens when you put it in clay? Or when you mix it in the blender to make paper? If you could make anything out of cardboard what would you make?
