1st Session - Vocal Performance - YSCP
Club Description: The Vocal Performance Club is for students who really love to sing and who would like to develop their skills further. The class includes group singing (choir) but also emphasizes vocal technique with individual attention. Students, who feel ready for a challenge beyond group singing, will be encouraged and supported in their preparation for solo presentations. Repertoire will be chosen according to the abilities of the students, including folk songs, songs from movies and musicals, jazz favorites, and art songs. Older students are, especially, encouraged to enroll. Goals for February to May include developing students individual vocal technique and exploring repertoire which will highlight the abilities of each. The class will also prepare for presentations at school events and other opportunities. Instructor Bio: The class will be taught by Carol Pharo, B.A. in Music from Penn State, M.M. from New England Conservatory, an Advanced Certificate in Singing from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and a diploma in fortepiano from The Royal Conservatory in the Hague. CSI Advanced 7/18 - Open Door Church
NOTE: MUST HAVE ATTENDED OUR STANDARD CSI CAMP. Campers MUST bring to camp an inexpensive digital camera. Campers will become advanced forensic scientists for the week! Campers will analyze and gather evidence for a number of fictitious crime scenes, use luminol and UV light to detect the presence of blood, complete a blood splatter analysis, take crime scene photographs, complete a drug and poison analysis and much more! 919-847-7625

Dolphin Swim Camp - Footsteps@Cipriani
Our younger campers will start their day at Cipriani School with camp activities and a healthy snack, followed by a trip to the Belmont Library playground in our Footsteps vans and school buses for outdoor activities and lunch. The afternoon includes a 1/2 hour swim lesson and 1 - 2 hour recreational swim. After swimming, campers head back to Cipriani for snack and afternoon activities. NEW FOR THIS YEAR, each camper enrolled in swim camp will receive a Footsteps Sun Protective long sleeve rashguard-style swim shirt to wear while in the pool. 650-610-0715

Adventure Camp #1 (Backpacking @ Sipsey Wilderness (JH) (Males)) - Camp Lake Stephens
A more challenging 6 day/five night camp experience. Campers will travel to the Sipsey Wilderness in Northern Alabama to do hiking, camping, and experience beautiful scenery.
