Our advanced camps are aimed towards players aged 10 and above who have playing experience. This camp is all about improving your technical ability and knowledge of the game. A big part of this camp is working on positioning, decision making, applying skills in the right times and allowing players to learn through playing the game. Through the week you will work on technical skills such as: - Passing and moving into space - Creating angles - Dribbling/running with the ball - First touch/control of the ball - Attacking and defending headers - Crossing and finishing - Shooting from range - 1v1 attacking and defending - Attacking and defending overloads (916) 827-0820

Learn exciting and new ways to use pulleys, levers and gears to build and program ALL NEW machines! Sign up for the chess program at school. Students will learn chess fundamentals and strategies that enhance learning skills and critical thinking through chess. We will build confidence and have the options to compete against other local school. Novice students and experienced players are encouraged to sign up as we will have two levels. This chess coach has been teaching chess with exuberance for over 20 years. Kids love his creative style and methods to improve at chess. His students have achieved noted success at local, state, and national chess events. Hector is a Class A United State Chess Federation Player. He looks forward to meeting the Saint Davids chess team players and start getting everyone ready for competition! Use investigation, observation, and exploration to understand more about this amazing resource. Do hands-on experiments involving dropping, spraying, heating, and freezing and discover the mysterious properties of water and how it changes to different states of matter. Explore the local watershed to see how water moves and changes shape along its path to the sea. Search the creek to look for critters that live in or near water. Girls 5/6 LAX - Old Trail LAX fields and HMAC
The next team sport to open up for registration in our new Grade 5/6 Team Sports Development Program will be Girls Lacrosse. The goal of this program is to help girls develop basic lacrosse game skills and to provide opportunities to apply these skills in modified game situations. This program will be coached by Ms. Margie Anderson, former NCAA Division I College player (UMass) and coach (UNH) and one of our coaches of the MS girls 7 & 8 grade Girls Lacrosse teams and by Mrs. Christy Woodburn, grade 5 Assistant. Practices will be held on the following Wednesdays and Fridays: April 20, 22 , 27, and 29 and May 6, and 11. In addition, a small number of games/scrimmages are scheduled on Monday 5/2 (Hudson Youth at OTS), Friday 5/13 (the Saints at OTS), Saturday 5/14 (noon CLE at OTS), plus on Wednesday 5/18 (Revere Youth at OTS). Minimum number of participants will be 12 Registration fee is $125 and the registration deadline is April 17, 2016 Players are strongly encouraged to bring their own goggles, mouth guards and sticks.
