My kids were able to experience a lot of different things at Camp Tecumseh this summer. They have the usual camp activities, but they also have rock wall climbing, archery, riffly, tube slides, a nature center, candle making, disc golf, fishing and a mini farm. Game Maker Overload - Brookwood Christian School
This camp takes our intro and advanced courses and combines them...then goes beyond that for a full week of programming "overload". Starting from the very beginning, we will explore several different types of game creation: basic, maze, platform and more. Learn the basics such as creatin​g sprites, objects, events and actions, health, gravity, designing your levels and more. Then go deeper into the platform game programming.... in this camp we will introduce even more unique gaming aspects to make your game even better. This camp will provide hours of creative time for you to build exciting, professional looking games you can play with your friends. Students receive a CD with all the class creations at the end of the course. You must have minimal experience using a computer to take this class. 770-826-0449

Adventure Sailing M,W,F ($215 for 1 week, Members) - Nantucket Yacht Club
Please select a minimum of one week. The class, which meets 3 days a week, will have a distinct goal for each day: Long Sail Day - try to sail as far as possible from the club using wind direction, current/tide forecast, and navigational aides. During the following class the student will chart their course on a chart in the Sail Room with pins and yarn, and we can compare progress week to week. Star Chart Day - Students identify skills from the star chart they want to achieve (Anchoring, knots, upwind sailing, etc), and finally Catamaran Day! Students may take this course for a maximum of 4 weeks, and class may not be held if less than 2 children are signed up. The goal of Adventure Sailing is to accumulate the skills for the student to check out a Rhodes 19 on their own. (Note: Adventure Sailing will not be held during Race Week.) 508-228-1400

Boys Mountain Bike Camp Week 6 - Knott Hall
Like riding your bike in the woods? Want to take your riding to the next level? Whether you ride all the time or just like to play in the woods, join our staff for a week of mountain bike riding at Loyola and area trails. Climb better and descend with more control. Learn how to shift more efficiently, brake properly and ride with more confidence. Additionally, we will cover basic bicycle and trail maintenance and develop an appreciation for the outdoors in a fun and safe environment. *While riding is our main focus in this camp, we realize that we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and should there be inclement weather additional activities may be deemed more appropriate. Mr. Keeney II and Mr. Glorioso have a combined 37 years experience in middle and high school teaching and run the Loyola Climbing Club. ScratchJr - Viewpoint School
ScratchJr takes students through the beginning stages of the video game making process using ScratchJr, an MIT-designed programming language for youth. Students work in teams to create various game that include game plots, design characters and various games.
